ALBUM COVER DESIGN

West Park EP

SOUNDCLOUD

From early high school up to the present day, I’ve produced my own music. After graduation, I decided to blend the music with my degree. Creating and posting multiple solo projects, artists started reaching out for cover art. Here is that work!

The Cycles by West Park

The Cycles is a newly released album that I solo produced. I asked my photographer friend, Cade Suing, to do a shoot and these were the album covers that came from that day. Incredible amount of fun and exploration with this whole project.

Give Me Ecstasy by Housemates

Give Me Ecstasy came about while I was on vacation in San Diego. I was at a birthday party and Housemates was playing at the party. I was hyping them up, dancing around the room, creating energy for them. Ended up chatting with them after their set was over, became really good friends and eventually collaborated on some work together.

U_Mf_Lost_Ur_Mind_ by West Park

U_Mf_Lost_Ur_Mind_ started on a day where I was feeling funky with a little bit of sass. I found the samples of the girls talking back and forth. Slowly added the drums in under it all. It wasn’t until the day before release that I remembered the scene from The Office with Stanley, Ryan, and Stanley’s daughter. Grabbed the mp3 and it made THE PERFECT intro to this song! For the cover I just used a angry pic of Stanley, blurred it, and added some other effects. One of the best responses I’ve received upon release.

Walk_Up_Straight_ by West Park

Walk_Up_Straight_ was my first big single. This techno beat was inspired by Fred Again.. and his remix of Return of the Mac by MizOrMac. Punching kick drums with chopped uk rap over the top of the beat. In the world of rap and hip hop, the infrared filter is huge! I figured I’d mix that into a picture of flowers blooming on a tree. It created this doppler radar type effect. Looks like a storm is rolling in, similar to sound of the kick drum throughout the track.
